Model Auditions

The Birth of a New Generation ... of ridiculously good looking people.

Midterm season, all nighters are pulled, chapters are crammed, and tears are probably shed. However, there is a silver lining in the midst of all the madness  - it was time for model castings. Last Sunday, over 170 students came to the Mustang Lounge for a chance to become a model for the 15th annual CAISA Fashion Show. A mix of veterans and fresh faces strutted through the door , making for an exciting day for both models and executives.

The CFS executives, dressed impeccably chic in all-black attire, were spread out between five stations in the lounge - check-in/check-out, choreography, runway, photography, and interviews. Choreographers lead the potential models to the front of the room and divided them up into two sections for two different dance routines. After the dance component, auditioners moved on to the runway where they were observed by notepad-wielding execs. The next station was the photography station, where models took a profile picture followed by two poses. The final station was the interviews.

Spotted! Some notable observations during the eventful Sunday include:

1) A pair of fabulous Jeffrey Campell studded heels. Seriously, it should be considered a superpower to be able to dance in those five-inchers.

2) Executives dancing, runway walking, and posing for the camera (remember to smize!) between intervals.

3) PR girls posing with shirtless models! (I may or may not be the one with my hand on an eight-pack - GW)

All in all, last Sunday was definitely a day filled with fun, fashion, and infinite fierceness.
