Date Night: London Edition

So this wasn't an actual date (it was a friends thing), but I thought it'd make a cute date. For all the guys out there -winkwink-, here's how to impress that girl you've finally had the nerve to ask out. Don't worry though - I'm all about equality, so I've included tips for the girls as well:

STEP #1: Dinner

Yummy
Bertoldi's Trattoria is a cute Italian place right at Richmond St. and Pall Mall. The atmosphere is dim yet lively with an open kitchen concept. It's the perfect place to set the 'mood.'

FOR GUYS: If you don't think chivalry is dead quite yet, the meals here aren't too expensive so you won't be breaking the bank (of OSAP).
FOR GIRLS:  Try a girly drink - the Bertoldi Bellini sounds delish.

STEP #2: Marble Slab

Ice Cream for 2
Who doesn't like Marble Slab? Even on a cold (London) day, ice cream is soo good. Try their new French Toast flavour - I heard that it's amazing.

FOR GIRLS: If you're the one paying for it, make sure to use the 'Buy 1 Get 1 For $2' coupon in the Student Guide.
FOR GUYS: Don't clip coupons - ever. There's a reason why MOST people on Extreme Couponing are middle-aged women.

See the rest after the jump!

STEP #3: Vic Park

You look like a couple already ;)
CONVENIENTLY across the street from Marble Slab is Vic Park, and we all know how pretty it is this time of the year. Can you say CUTE??

FOR GUYS: If you're a pro skater and your date is not so much, some late-night outdoor skating lessons would be ultra romantic. Just don't do a Princess Diaries where Mia's date thought he was really good when he actually sucked, which led to a series of unfortunate events where he gave her a nosebleed (not romantic).
FOR GIRLS: Pretend like you don't know how to skate so you have an excuse to hold onto something (or someone...)

STEP #4: ...

... Well I'll leave that up to your imagination ;) Happy dating!
